Tres the Great offers private magic lessons in Utah focused on sleight of hand, misdirection, stagecraft, performance confidence, audience management, and the psychology of magic.
From 1991 to 1998, Tres worked at the legendary magic store in Orem, Utah, named MAGIZMOS, where he demonstrated magic for customers, collectors, hobbyists, and working performers.
As a performing magician, Tres was hired to promote the magic store's brand by doing what magicians are supposed to do: fool people, entertain them, and make them want to take a little piece of the mystery home in a brown paper bag.
Already an experienced working magician, Tres used those years to continue honing his skills in sleight of hand, close-up performance, audience interaction, and overall showmanship. It was also where he had the opportunity to mentor and teach those who wanted to step through the doorway into the art of magic.
What Lessons Cover
Private lessons with Tres focus on more than secrets. Students learn timing, misdirection, confidence, audience management, sleight of hand, theatrical presentation, and how to turn a trick into a performance.
Lessons may include cards, coins, sponge balls, rope magic, mentalism, stage routines, close-up magic, and performance coaching.
This is not about exposing magic. It is about respecting the craft, learning it properly, and discovering how to make an audience laugh, wonder, and question whether their eyes are still under warranty.
