Booking and Availability
How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book several weeks ahead. Popular dates — Saturdays, holidays, and end-of-school events — fill faster, so the earlier you check availability, the better.
How do I check availability?
Use the Check Availability form on this site, or call or text Tres at 435-229-9797.
What areas of Utah do you serve?
Orem, Provo, Utah County, Salt Lake County, Davis County, and surrounding Utah communities. Travel beyond the local area is available.
Do you perform outdoors?
Yes, when the space allows for sightlines, weather, and sound. We can talk through your venue when you check availability.

Shows and Audiences
What ages is the show best for?
Tres performs for all ages. Birthday shows work great for kids 4 and up. School assemblies work for K–12. Family, library, and corporate shows are written for mixed audiences.
Do you perform for schools and libraries?
Yes. Schools, libraries, summer reading programs, and community events are a large part of what Tres does every year.
Do you offer walk-around close-up magic?
Yes. Strolling / walk-around close-up magic is perfect for receptions, open houses, restaurants, and corporate events.
Do you offer private magic lessons?
Yes. One-on-one private magic lessons in Utah County, with virtual lessons available.
Performance and Participation
How do you involve audience members?
Audience participation can be one of the best parts of live entertainment when it is handled well. Volunteers are selected and treated so they feel important and successful — never embarrassed or uncomfortable for the sake of a laugh.
Can you personalize the performance for my event or guest of honor?
Yes. Tres gathers event details beforehand — the guest of honor's name, the type of celebration, the ages of the guests — and weaves them into the show so the performance feels personal instead of canned. No specific custom trick is promised in advance; the point is that the experience is tailored to your celebration.
Is the material clean and appropriate for my guests?
Yes. The content is family-friendly, inclusive, and free of humor that could embarrass a guest or a volunteer. Schools, libraries, churches, and corporate events often have additional expectations, and Tres welcomes that conversation.
Setup and Location
What do you need for setup?
A small performance area, access to power, and a quiet enough space to be heard. Tres brings sound, props, and everything else.
How much space do you need?
Ask how much space the entertainer needs, whether electrical power is required, and whether the show can be indoors or outdoors. For outdoor performances, discuss wind, heat, sunlight, noise, and a backup plan for bad weather.
When do you arrive for setup?
Arrival time is confirmed as part of the booking conversation. Share your room dimensions, seating plan, and any outdoor conditions in advance so the setup goes smoothly.
Pricing
How long is the show?
Shows run 30–60 minutes depending on the format. Strolling close-up magic can be booked in hourly blocks.
What is included in the quoted price?
Ask whether the price includes travel, setup, sound equipment, assistants, customized material, or additional activities, and whether a deposit is required and when the remaining balance is due. A professional entertainer should provide a straightforward price without mysterious additions appearing later.
Is a deposit required?
Deposit and balance details are confirmed as part of the booking conversation. Ask for the complete pricing — including any travel or add-on charges — in writing before you book.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and reschedule policies are confirmed before a deposit is paid. Ask for the policy in writing, including how deposits are handled, weather contingencies for outdoor events, and what happens if the performer becomes ill.
